I have to agree with Misanthropist above. There are many Russian women in and around my community and they are usually better dressed, made up, etc. on the average than there American born counterparts. You’ll never see a Russian woman in public in pajama bottoms, with her fat belly hanging out, hair uncombed, etc. In Russia they teach etiquite in school, unlike here where people are encouraged to “express themselves” i.e. look like crap.
